Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

Twinto ("we," "our," "the app") lets people record short video clips for each other, which we combine into a single gift reel revealed to the honoree on a specific occasion. This policy explains what information we collect to make that work, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

How we use this information

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. We use a small number of service providers to run the app — cloud hosting for storage and video processing, and Firebase (Google) for phone sign-in and push notifications. These providers only receive what's necessary to perform those functions.

Content you contribute to someone else's gift reel is, by its nature, visible to the honoree and to whoever else that occasion is shared with — that's the point of the app, and it's made clear in the app before you record anything.

Your choices

Data retention

We keep your content for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Raw, unprocessed video clips are retained only as long as needed to compile a reel and are then removed on a regular cleanup schedule.

Children's privacy

Twinto is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
